Feb 24

Taken on February 24th, 2008, this was the first photograph posted to the Gettysburg Daily for a post on the “old” Gettysburg Visitor Center and Cyclorama. We would later document the Electric Map Visitor Center’s demolition and removal, as well as the new Visitor Center that would replace it.

Well, we’ve made it once again. Today is the Gettysburg Daily‘s two year anniversary and our 732nd consecutive (daily) post. To celebrate the site’s second birthday we’ve compiled two top ten lists we hope you’ll enjoy. Our sincerest thanks to all of our readers and supporters. We look forward to providing you with another year of posts related to this very special place.
