Valley of Death: Evening Photos

Instead of showing you a panorama today, we decided to to take a look at a few photos taken last week, as the sun was going down in the Valley of Death on the southern end of Gettysburg National Military Park.

The sun was already on its way down as we drove south on the Emmitsburg Road … This view was taken at approximately 4:15 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Sadly, signs of the vandalism that occurred on some of the rocks near Plum Run and within the Devil’s Den area is still present. This view was taken at approximately 4:15 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
