In the past, we’ve covered ranger programs given in the ranger site areas located behind the Visitors Center. Recent problems with flooding in Ranger Site 1, pictured in the first image, has necessitated some landscaping work. One of the reasons the Rangers didn’t want to move the program site, especially for the kid’s program, is that the program takes place right off the back porch, making it easy for visitors to know that programs are happening.
