Markers Back in Place: Kinzie’s Battery and Wadsworth’s Division

The National Park Service has repositioned and secured the Kinzie’s Battery K tablet on Hunt Avenue and righted the Wadsworth’s Division tablet on Reynold’s Avenue. We’ll show you a few pictures of the markers back in their proper state.

It is easy to see why drivers on this two-way narrow road struck the tablet marker all the way back in September with how close both of these markers are to the road. This view was taken facing northeast at approximately 2:55 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.
