This study of the allegedly pivotal combat on the slopes of Little Round Top breaks new ground. A radically revisionist look at the most well known small-unit action of the Civil War.
Little Round Top was the site of a climactic struggle between Union and Confederate troops at the Battle of Gettysburg. Many books have dealt with the history of Little Round Top, but none have adequately tied the known history to the rocky hill itself. Twenty tour stops, five maps, and 40 photographs make this book a must for Gettysburg enthusiasts.
