The seventh day of cutting was the final day of cutting around the West End Guide Station on McPherson’s Ridge. This view was taken facing north at approximately 4:30 PM on Tuesday, March 9, 2010.

After seven days of cutting, the National Park Service contractor is finished with removing the trees around Gettysburg National Military Park’s West End Guide Station. Cleaning up the last remaining items that have been cut is all that appears to be left for the contractor to do.
