Gettysburg Traffic Light During the Reenactment



The traffic was very light on the Old Harrisburg Road during the reenactment of the 145th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. The Gettysburg Daily was at the corner of the Old Harrisburg Road and East Broadway, near the Eisenhower Elementary School. This view was taken from the south facing north at approximately 4:30 PM on Sunday, July 6, 2008.

The reenactment on the 145th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg drew thousands of visitors and freed up the roads. The Gettysburg Daily took photographs on the Harrisburg Road and Harrisburg Street which is usually busy on a Sunday afternoon in July.
