Living history group “Company C of Berdan’s 2nd United States Sharpshooters,” camped out behind the Pennsylvania Monument on Gettysburg National Military Park. This view was taken facing south at approximately 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 26, 2011.

Earlier this week, two living history groups, the 20th Maine Company E, and Company C of the 2nd United States Sharpshooters, were both camped behind the Pennsylvania Monument on Cemetery Ridge. Today we’ll show you some video we took of the 2nd U.S.S.S’s camp, members, and their live-fire demonstration.

Jason W. and David Boyle kindly redid their skirmish demonstration for us closeup, though they have to say “bang” instead of firing their weapons due to safety regulations (as they were not in the live-fire area).
