Eternal Light Peace Memorial Panorama: April 2011

Thankfully, the government shutdown that was threatened yesterday did not occur, or else all the visitors you see in this panorama would not have been allowed on this part of the battlefield, and North Confederate Avenue would have been closed. Because shutdown was avoided, this weekend’s visitors get to enjoy their time on the battlefield, including this foggy morning on Oak Hill.
